To ensure a great experience for everyone at Friendship Framework events, all attendees must read and agree to the following rules:
Respect other Players and People: Read the room and Keep the Banter Friendly! Harassment, discrimination, or aggressive behavior of any kind will not be tolerated. The Friendship Framework is built on platonic connection. While exchanging contact info for gaming purposes is encouraged, pressuring anyone for their personal information is strictly prohibited. Unwelcome romantic or sexual advances will result in immediate removal from the event.
Play to Win, Play to Connect: It is completely fine to be competitive and play to win! We encourage good strategy. Just remember to win with grace, lose with dignity, and never let the pursuit of a victory ruin the welcoming vibe of the table.
Be Patient: We have a mix of veterans and absolute beginners. If you are teaching a game, explain the rules clearly and be prepared to answer questions. If you are learning a game, give the teacher your full attention and put your phone away.
Wear Your Nametag: To help everyone learn names and to make matchmaking easier for the organizers, all attendees are asked to please wear their provided nametags for the duration of the event.
Listen to Event Staff: Please follow the instructions of the event organizers and volunteers. Their decisions regarding table matchmaking, noise levels, and venue rules are final.
Zero Food or Drink Policy: No food or open drinks are allowed at the gaming tables. We are financially responsible for any library cleaning fees and the replacement of damaged personal games. Note: Bottled water will be available at the organizer's table in exchange for a $1 donation to The Friendship Framework.
Respect the Games: We are playing with personal collections. Please wash your hands before sitting down, do not bend the cards, and help the owner pack the game back into the box exactly how you found it.
Respect the Venue: We are guests of the Hagen Ranch Road Library Branch and are not sponsored or endorsed by the Palm Beach County Library System. All standard library rules apply. Please keep your volume at a reasonable, respectful level so we do not disrupt other library patrons. See more at: www.pbclibrary.org/policies/Â
Personal Hygiene: Please arrive clean and mindful of personal hygiene so the close-quarters table environment remains comfortable for everyone.
The Friendship Framework reserves the right to ask anyone who violates these rules or makes the event an unwelcoming environment to leave immediately.
